EIMA International, one of the three main agri-machinery exhibitions in the world and highly valued by the insiders for its great contributions to the industry developments, is the international exposition of machinery for agriculture and gardening, a biennial event created in 1969 by FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, and organised by the federation’s service division, FederUnacoma Surl, in collaboration with BolognaFiere. There are five main sectors to be presented in the show, including EIMA Componenti, EIMA Energy, EIMA Digital, EIMA Green and EIMA Idrotech, for the direct participation of manufacturing industries from around the world presenting avant-garde technologies in the sector at the global level.

The fair displays on-site including engines; land-reclamation and forestry equipment; tractors, walking tractors, power mowers, motor hoes and multipurpose farm vehicles; soil-working, sowing and fertilizer-distribution equipment; plant and crop protection equipment; irrigation equipment; harvesting machines; threshing selection and conditioning equipment; livestock husbandtry equipment; product processing and dairy-work equipment; crop transportation equipment; components, accessories and spare parts; gardening and public green area equipment, samll powered and manually operated machines; various machines for agriculture, livestock management and  for the cleaning of stalls, machines and equipment for renewable power sources for agriculture.

EIMA is held at the fairground in Bologna covering an exhibition area of 375,000 m², 122,000 m² net. Each edition hosts some 1,750 companies from 150 countries exhibiting more than 60,000 models of machinery and equipment for all types of agricultural or green activities for every business model.
